anger and resentment at every turn, no matter how much they have to lie to do it, in order to keep their base enthused to get out and vote (since Biden enthuses no one). That may very well be enough to get the win, but they're tied to riots, looters, Antifa, etc. now. Hopefully most sane voters are looking at what we see with our own eyes, and thinking this is not acceptable, and not buying the nonsense that this was all peaceful and under control until Trump sent in the "storm troopers".

On the flip side, Trump and Co. have to try and tie the Dems to this rioting and showing they're complacent, if not complicit at every turn, in order to fire up their own base to get out and vote.

So as is all too often the case, both sides only care about getting out the vote and the campaign donations, not actually solving problems.
